About us

Beverella is an editorial project dedicated to the world of beverages: wine, beer, spirits, cocktails, coffee, tea, infusions, non-alcoholic drinks and new forms of contemporary drinking culture. It was created to explore the beverage world as a broad and living territory, shaped by culture, markets, social habits, research, taste and communication. We are not interested only in the surface of the product, but also in everything that surrounds it: the people who create it, the languages that accompany it, the places where it takes shape, and the occasions in which it is chosen, served and shared.

We do not want to build a simple news archive, nor a generic container of content about drinks. Beverella was created to read the sector with a wider perspective: one that looks at a bottle, a blend, a label, an ingredient or a trend not only for what it is, but also for what it tells. Behind every product there are choices, techniques, territories, images, imaginaries, habits and different ways of understanding taste. Telling these stories means trying to give back this complexity without making it distant, looking for a balance between precision and the pleasure of reading.

The project is promoted by Associazione Culturale Orizzonti Informatici and involves communication professionals, sommeliers and beverage enthusiasts. This combination is important, because Beverella comes precisely from the meeting of different skills: the ability to read and tell a sector, attention to language, knowledge of wine and beverages, and curiosity about what is changing in consumption habits and markets. It is a cultural, editorial and communication project at the same time, created to give space to a world that is often described either in an overly technical way or, on the contrary, too superficially.

A beverage magazine, but not only that

Beverella is first and foremost a magazine. It publishes content, insights, news and stories connected to the world of beverages, with both an Italian and international perspective. Our interest does not stop at the product itself, but expands to the way it is perceived, communicated, chosen, served, purchased and experienced. A drink can certainly be a commercial fact, but it can also be a cultural sign: it can tell a habit, a territory, a generation, a social ritual, a choice of style and sometimes even a change in the way people spend time together.

This is why the website gives space to many different themes: wine and its territories, new trends in spirits, the evolution of coffee, the growing role of non-alcoholic drinks, tea culture, mixology, pairings, events, companies, places and the languages of the sector. The beverage world is much richer than its commercial surface. Beverella tries to tell it without making it unnecessarily complicated, but also without impoverishing it. The goal is to build readable, carefully written and useful content, able to speak both to those who work in the sector and to those who approach it as enthusiasts.

Alongside its editorial activity, Beverella also develops services connected to communication, visibility and wine culture. The project can work with companies, producers, venues, events, consortia and food & drink businesses that want to tell their story better, build stronger content or offer experiences connected to wine and beverages. This part grows naturally out of the editorial work: those who observe a sector every day, together with its codes and transformations, can also help make its communication clearer.

Our way of working

We believe in communication that is precise, readable and never shouted. In the beverage world, many words have already been worn down by habit: quality, tradition, passion, innovation, excellence. These words can be true, but on their own they are not enough. We are interested in understanding what lies behind them: which choices, which differences, which vision, which relationship with the audience. A winery, a coffee roaster, a distillery, a brewery or a non-alcoholic project do not become recognizable because they repeat the right words, but because they manage to give shape to something specific.

Beverella was also born from this need: to give form to content with more substance, more context and more care. Whether it is an article, a commercial page, a tasting or a communication project, the point remains the same: making the world of beverages more understandable, more interesting and closer to those who encounter it. There is no need to raise the volume. What matters is finding the tone, choosing the words, understanding the context and allowing every product, every story and every project to be read with greater attention.
